Dr. Rambeau is originally from Angier and graduated from Harnett Central High School. She received her undergraduate education at Gardner-Webb University before attending medical school at East Carolina University School of Medicine, graduating in 2000. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina. She returned home to North Carolina in 2006 and joined Benson Area Medical Center. After nearly 14 years with BAMC, Dr. Rambeau has decided to open her own direct primary care practice in Smithfield. The office moved to Coats in 2025. Her passion is rural medicine, and she truly enjoys taking care of the hard-working folks of Johnston and Harnett County. She is board certified in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages (including infants and toddlers).
Dr. Rambeau is married to her husband James, and they have a daughter, Katie and a son, Jameson--both of whom are growing up way too fast! She has an energetic goldendoodle named Lily and a chonky kitty named Oreo. She is a member of Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in Angier. Her hobbies include hiking and playing with her Cricut.
Mrs. Pam and Dr. Rambeau have worked together for 18 years. She is certified medical assistant and is an invaluable member of our office. Her committment to our patients is strong, and she uses her natural JoCo stubbornness to make sure every patient is taken care of like family. She is originally from Four Oaks where she continues to live with her husband. She enjoys crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Janet joined our team in April 2022. She is certified phlebotomist and is the perfect addition to our office family. She is a great balance between Mrs. Pam and Dr. Rambeau and serves frequently as referee. She is also a home grown resident of Johnston County and lives in her hometown of Benson. She enjoys staycations and spoiling her grandchildren.
